Walking with Dinosaurs is a new-age Land Before Time of sorts
Walking with Dinosaurs: The 3D Movie takes the popular traveling animatronic attraction and explores the territory on film. From the looks of things the movie seems to be a prehistoric take on something like African Cats or Chimpanzee.

There’s not much in regards to casting by way of the film’s IMDd page, and from the trailer we don’t get a definitive sense of whether this is a formally structured adventure with character voices or if they’re playing it straight. IMDb’s synopsis of the film backs up the notion of an adventure storyline:
Two brothers looking to follow in their father’s footsteps leads to a showdown with dinosaurs in the Arctic North.
But another synopsis for the film (courtesy of /film.com) paints a different picture:
For the first time in movie history, audiences will truly see and feel what it was like when dinosaurs ruled the Earth. “Walking with Dinosaurs” is the ultimate immersive experience, utilizing state of the art 3D to put audiences in the middle of a thrilling and epic prehistoric world, where an underdog dino triumphs to become a hero for the ages.
Only time will tell what kind of move we’ll get. That said, Walking with Dinosaurs: The 3D Movie could be a whole lot of fun for fans of the cold-blooded creatures. The film is set for a December 20th release.
