Katniss is back in new Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 teaser trailer

There seems to still be a pretty strong fan base for the Hunger Games series, and if you’re in that camp you’ll probably enjoy the newest teaser trailer for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1. Not much from the film is revealed, but it does a good job of teasing a war on Panem and a resistance ready to fight. Plus, there’s a quick glimpse of Natalie Dormer (Game of Thrones) with a tattoo on her shaved head, so there’s that.

Again, not much is included in the new tease, but it looks like upping the ante and possibly large-scale action is what we’ll get. Personally, I wasn’t very impressed with the previous two installments in the series, so let’s hope the third is a little more engaging.

The worldwide phenomenon of The Hunger Games continues to set the world on fire with The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1, which finds Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) in District 13 after she literally shatters the games forever. Under the leadership of President Coin (Julianne Moore) and the advice of her trusted friends, Katniss spreads her wings as she fights to save Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) and a nation moved by her courage.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Julianne Moore, Elizabeth Banks, Jeffrey Wright, Stanley Tucci, Donald Sutherland, Woody Harrelson, Toby Jones, Sam Claflin, Jena Malone, Willow Shields, and Natalie Dormer. The movie is scheduled to fly into theaters November 21, 2014.
