Second Doctor Strange trailer continues to tease a topsy-turvy world
Marvel’s Doctor Strange movie now has a second trailer to fill in more of the gaps and give us a better glimpse of the world we’ll be diving into. It’s a wild one, with plenty of Inception-style landscape bending, and the movie looks intriguing. Coming out of Comic-Con amid plenty of recognizable properties, Doctor Strange is one of Marvel’s upcoming movies that has the potential to open up a new, mythical chapter in the universe. Plus, Benedict Cumberbatch looks pretty great as the cape-wearing, magic-wielding Steven Strange.

What do you think? Mads Mikkelson as the villain? Chiwetel Ejiofor as Strange’s sidekick/buddy? Tilda Swinton as a turtle-waxed mythical guru? Talk about the talent Marvel is attracting these days. What’s also kind of cool, I know this has been somewhat of a passion project for director/writer duo Scott Derrickson and C. Robert Cargill (the pair were responsible for Sinister). They’ve dealt with a bit of controversy surrounding the cultural tones of the movie, so here’s hoping Doctor Strange knocks our socks off.
The official plot for the Doctor Strange movie is pretty barebones at this point, but it and the two trailers we’ve seen do enough to fill us in:
“Doctor Strange” follows the story of neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange who, after a horrific car accident, discovers the hidden world of magic and alternate dimensions.
Doctor Strange hits theaters later this year on November 4, 2016. Here’s a new poster that popped up with the trailer.
