Corporate corruption and spying are front and center in Paranoia
Liam Hemsworth, Harrison Ford, and Gary Oldman are playing the high-concept business field in a new trailer for the thriller Paranoia. Hemsworth is caught in the middle as Ford and Oldman’s rivalry whirls around him. Also, Amber Heard is in there looking as gorgeous as ever, so…theres’ that.

Looks pretty good, and it’s nice to see Ford and Oldman doing something with a little attitude after their last few toned down roles. That said, it’s the ensemble of a cast that will most likely elevate this film above the average man-caught-in-the-middle drama that feels a little like the 2001 movie Antitrust in a way.
Here’s the official synopsis for the Paranoia:
In this high-stakes thriller, Adam Cassidy (Liam Hemsworth) is a regular guy trying to get ahead in his entry-level job at Wyatt Corporation. But after one costly mistake, Adam’s ruthless CEO, Nicholas Wyatt (Gary Oldman), forces him to spy on corporate rival, Jock Goddard (Harrison Ford), Wyatt’s old mentor. Adam soon finds himself occupying the corner office and living the life he only dreamed of. However, behind the scenes, he is simply a pawn in Wyatt’s corporate game and realizes he must ultimately find a way out from under his boss who will stop at nothing, even murder, to win a multi-billion dollar advantage.
Paranoia stars Harrison Ford, Gary Oldman, Liam Hemsworth, Amber Heard, Richard Dreyfuss, Josh Holloway, Julian McMahon, and Lucas Till. The film is set to hit theaters in a few months on August 16th.
