Captain America: Civil War trailer teases Spider-Man appearance
A brand new trailer for Captain America: Civil War just swung in, and it’s full of new footage. For starters, we finally get to see Tom Holland’s Spider-Man. While there’s soooooo much more in the new trailer to drool over if your a fanboy, Spider-Man is going to get the most attention (so I’m shamelessly leading with that for SEO purposes). That said, I don’t even think Spidey is why I love the new trailer and why I just got even more amped for Civil War. You’ve got to watch the trailer to really take it all in.
As if the team posters weren’t enough, watch the new Captain America: Civil War trailer after the jump!
Holy Marvel, right?! This thing just looks fantastic. Captain America: Civil War has the potential to be the best Marvel movie to-date, and I don’t think that’s an exaggeration. It’s essentially an Avengers movie, we’re almost guaranteed a main character death, and there’s a ton at stake here. Civil War looks like it’ll pave the way for a completely new turn in the Marvel universe and most likely a new Avengers team (again). Plus, Spider-Man!
Spider-Man aside, how about Black Panther? Or that look of surprise on Tony Stark’s face as Bucky shoots a bullet into his hand. Or Scarlet Witch seemingly bringing Vision to his knees. Or Crossbones. Or the Hawkeye/Ant-Man arrow combo!! The new Captain America: Civil War trailer warrants a few watches, so press play again and enjoy.
“Captain America: Civil War” picks up where “Avengers: Age of Ultron” left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain.
Captain America: Civil War stars Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Sebastian Stan, Paul Rudd, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Anthony Mackie, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johannson,Martin Freeman, Daniel Bruhl, Frank Grillo, Chadwick Boseman, William Hurt, Don Cheadle, and Tom Holland. Look for the movie to hit theaters on May 6, 2016.
