Does new Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer reveal too much?
A brand new trailer for DC’s highly anticipated Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is being passed around, praised, and criticized for the usual reasons. Not to be outdone by the recent Captain America: Civil War trailer, the new Batman v Superman trailer packs the punch of revealing a new villain, giving Lex Luthor a little spotlight, and introducing Wonder Woman to the scene. Personally, I think the trailer felt a little odd, tonally, but it’s unfair to judge a finished product by the few minutes we see in a patched together advertising preview. That said, the newest trailer for Batman v Superman seems to suffer from a bit of overcrowding and giving away more than it should, which has become pretty routine. Lots of people are surprised to see Doomsday. So, if you’re trying to see the movie knowing as little as possible beforehand, you might want to steer clear of this new trailer.
If you can’t get enough of the first in what’s promised in a long line of DC superhero movies, check out the brand new trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice after the jump.
Lots of unexpected humor, from Lex especially, and the trio team-up in the end of the trailer was awkward, but overall the movie looks pretty entertaining. Let the DC/Marvel movie war begin!
Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’ most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was directed by Zack Snyder and stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Amy Adams, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Diane Lane, Jason Momoa, Jesse Eisenberg, Jena Malone, Michael Shannon, Holly Hunter, Laurence Fishburne, and Scoot McNairy. The movie hits theaters March 25, 2016.
